They planned their entire annual vacation trip around the night of the concert and were, obviously, very excited about the show. When they got to the show they found out it had been sold out for some time, but one seat next to the couple was vacant. The couple couldn't believe somebody would buy a ticket and not come. When intermission came the seat was still vacant, so the man said to the woman on the other side of the vacant seat "Can you imagine somebody not using their ticket and coming to this show?" The woman said "I have the ticket. It was my husband's seat. We bought the tickets months ago and he was so much looking forward to the show. Unfortunately he passed away before he got the chance to see it." The man was very embarrassed and said "I'm terribly sorry! I didn't know. Pardon me for asking, but couldn't you have asked somebody else to come with you? A friend or relative?" The woman said "I tried to get somebody to come with me, but they're all at the funeral." I heard this on Chuck Swindol's "Insight for Living" ========== Boyd Johnson nosc!spectra.com!johnson ========== Spectragraphics Corp 9707 Waples St., San Diego, Ca. 92121
