This directory contains ABC transcriptions of Robert Bremner's "Scots Reel & Country Dances", published in London in 1769.

All the tunes have a simple bass line, but no figured bass chords.

Most of the tunes have a dance description, usually fairly simple with standard figures. T dance figures are separated by the common icons made of a mixture of dots and horizontal lines, which have been transcribed here as rotated a quarter turn anti-clockwise. There seems to be no discernable pattern to the way these icons are used; they just mean "end of figure".
