This directory holds images used in various 18th- and 19th-century country dance books. The meaning of some of them are not well understood. Most of the Mark* images appear in this collection. I might remove the unused ones eventually. If anyone has a good explanation of them, send me email at my gmail account, where I can easily view email with embedded images.

Most of these were copied from Colin Hume's Ashover Book page, which has the simplest examples of these marks that I've found. If you know of some others that might be added to this small collection, let me know. It could be informative to have all of them collected in one place.
